CAN OPENER MINISTRY
Last year we were invited to
Mexico for Nathan to preach at a
nighttime service. (Pastor's wife &
myself to the right). We're not
normally there in the evening -
MOST always in the daytime. After
church the pastor & his wife
insisted we join them for a meal. It
never occurred to me that there
wasn't electricity - but there was
one candle in each room. When it
was time to open a can of frijoiles
they handed me a hammer & a
large knife. That was their can
opener. Can you even imagine?
Now it's always on my heart to
bless the women with good old
fashioned can openers. Maybe the
Lord will place it on your heart also.
These can openers have been
donated by friends & their church in
Red Bay, Alabama & the church I grew
up in, Mt. Moriah Methodist in
Carthage, Missouri.
Check out what's attached to each can opener. Each story is printed on a 1/2 sheet of cardstock, front & back. The whole story at the bottom of this page!
