MISSIONS IN THE USA
Indie is our missionary friend
from Nicaragua.  She comes over
to Way of the Cross each year.
She came to know the Lord
during a Nicaragua crusade.

MT. MORIAH HOMECOMING
CELEBRATION!

The church I grew up in had their
138th anniversary in November.
No since in waiting for 50 year
spurts as most of us would not be
around to celebrate on earth!
A whole day of events including
baptism, music specials, 2 covered
dish meals (dinner & supper),
dedication of the new
gyn/fellowship hall, afternoon
games & preaching by Nathan
completed the day.

It was so wonderful coming home
to visit everyone that contributed
to my growing up!  Don't blame
yourself if I didn't turn out the way
you intended!

Nathan said he knew when he married
me, he married my family....he didn't
realize at the time that he was also
marrying my church family!
Is there anything better than a Mt.
Moriah covered dish dinner?
It's not my fault I'm first
in line.  To be a 'guest' is
a wonderful thing!
A good cow tank is multi useful.  Today it's a
baptistry.  It was a cold, rainy day.
Pastor Jim Quist following up with baptizing
Brantley who had previously asked Jesus
Christ to be his Savior.
I am laughing at
those folks who
watched the
baptism from
inside the church,
instead of joining
us in the cold.

So many of us grew up in Sunday
School, MYF, 4-H meetings, wedding &
baby showers, pie box auctions, loss of
loved ones.  The majority of us even
took piano lessons from the same
teacher.  What a foundation that was
laid.  If you're not active or faithful to
the Lord or a church....find one that
preaches Jesus Christ.  So much to
lose...IF YOU'RE WRONG....
On the state side I teach 4th-6th grade Sunday School at FBC, Donna.  I made tons of cookies & they came over for Cookie
Day to decorate.  Each child received their own platter with 4 dz to decorate.  Afterwards they begged me to play FREEZE
TAG.  I did but it just confirms that 50 year olds are to old to run!
